The Warehouse has become a staple of our community. In 2019 we had over 72,000 visits! What we offer the community (free access to sports, the arts, and other recreational activities) is more important than ever. As we are moving into winter, the kids in our community, especially those who can't afford memberships to other programs, desperately need access to a safe, indoor place to play. 

Our closure is currently unrelated to Covid-19 restrictions. The City of Bloomington has mandated we remain closed until a parking lot renovation is completed. We have been bogged down by red-tape, permitting delays, and near-impossible requirements such as planting more trees than will fit on our property. We have started the project, but only have permits to do half the parking lot. Unfortunately, the city will not let us open until the project is completed.

Help us let the city know how much The Warehouse means to our community. We are fully committed to finishing the parking lot project, but would love for the city to know the people in Monroe Co are waiting for us to reopen and hopefully speed up the process of approving necessary permits.
