Bill sandison (ward 2 council member) has forwarded the request for an additional sidewalk on poplar street to engineering services for consideration while preparing the 2022 budget. He will follow up with them and provide an update.
Mayor panciuk has indicated that he will keep this in mind IF funding becomes available. He heavily emphasized that only if the funding is available and if the project is selected will it happen (this is where our voice comes into play! Keep pushing for the safety of our children and turn that IF into a yes!!!) He stated that even IF the funding is there and the project is selected it won't begin until at least 2023.
This is where we need to keep sharing this petition and get the signatures to make this happen! Show them that the parents and neighbours of Parkdale school want this! That we won't give up until this project is selected!
