TWO DEADLY SHOOTING EIGHT HOURS APART YESTERDAY

From the Austin American-Statesman's report:

A husband calls 911 for help after saying he shot his wife. An argument between two friends escalates into violence. Both episodes end in death.

The pair of homicides reported within six hours of each other overnight Tuesday into Wednesday added to a record-breaking year of violent deaths in the city.
