HOMELESS CAMPING ORDINANCE UPDATE

Dear fellow Austinite -

We have 18 days left until we must turn in 20,000 signed petitions from Austin residents to put our ordinance to reinstate the camping ban on the November ballot.

We are currently at 12,500+ signatures and counting.

50k PETITIONS MAILED

We mailed 50,000 new petitions out last week. I believe we need to mail at least another 50,000 by the end of the day tomorrow, which will cost $25,000.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

We began collecting signatures at the polls on Monday and we've had over 40 volunteers working so far. If you can offer at least one two hour shift over the next two weeks, please fill in your preferred day and time here.
