Yesterday I arrived at the City Council meeting at 10am. Nearly 15 hours later, I was finally given the opportunity to speak for five minutes.

I promised you, the signers of our petition to rescind the Homeless Camping Ordinance, that I would present our petition to the City Council on August 7. And I did just that on your behalf.

The Mayor and the City Council did not reconsider their Homeless Camping Ordinance last night. There is a belief that they will do so at the Aug. 22 meeting. So we MUST keep the pressure up.

We will likely pass 25,000 signatures over this weekend. Let's keep going!
