Petition update

Nearing 20k Signatures -- and a Request

Matt Mackowiak
Austin, TX, United States

Jul 31, 2019 —

Thank you for signing our petition to rescind the Homeless Camping Ordinance in Austin.

Every day we see more evidence for why this new policy is failing our city.

In just two weeks, we are now nearing 20,000 signatures -- with not one cent spent on advertising up to this point.

However, we know that a lot of Austinites are not aware of this online petition. We need as many signatures as possible to send the strongest message that we can.

So we want to ask you to do two things:

1) Post a message like this to Facebook and Twitter right now:

I signed the petition to rescind the Homeless Camping Ordinance in Austin.

Sign & share: http://www.SaveAustinNow.com

2) Consider contributing to our effort so we can reach more Austinites and keep the pressure on the Mayor and City Council. You can securely contribute here right now (paypal.me/SaveAustinNow).

Our effort is about to enter a new phase in the next few days. We will be updating you soon. Thank you for your support. We must keep fighting.

Sincerely,

Matt Mackowiak
