Texas has been under a bad winter weather for few days & ERCOT knew about this cold weather coming, but wasn’t prepared @ all due to POWER OUTAGE across the state. 10 years ago, there was the same issue & it claimed that it would resolve the problem, so whenever a winter weather will happen everything will be fine. Obviously, it was a lie b/c here we go again with this same issue, but the worst thing is that we all have to deal with COVID-19 too. Most people have been struggling to survive, so the power outage definitely made our lives more miserable especially when all the foods in the fridge are bad & can’t be used, which is a waste of money that most people don’t have the luxury to afford. Every single person in this state is affected such as kids “virtual learning” or employees “working from home” or elderly people whom are alone at home without help or businesses that can’t open. This problem is more than a simple power outage, but it could worsen most families’ lives. Please sign this petition, so it could actually help building a strong case against ERCOT for loss damages. Nobody deserves to live in these conditions, so ERCOT needs to take responsibilities for their lack of planning.
