Good Afternoon everyone,

Firstly I would like to thank everyone for their support in getting the petition to over 75k signatures. This is a great milestone especially considering we have achieved this in a week's time. As some of you may have seen, there has been a major step forward in this campaign. A TMZ article recently reported that the city of Anderson is in the process of planning a permanent structure to honor Mr. Boseman. What this structure will look like and the logistics are still an ongoing conversation, but I can confirm that plans are being made.  As far as the confederate monument I have not heard any new development. This is a huge step forward and it is thanks to the hard work of everyone involved with this issue. Going forward, I will try to provide as much information as I can but this process will take time and it may be a while until we see physical results. Please continue to share the petition. The numbers will serve as a great tool as we continue in the campaign to relocate the Confederate monument and will show support to the city of Anderson as they work to permanently honor Mr. Boseman.
