APPROXIMATELY 200 TO 250 LOCAL SKATERS (including the not active or no personal skateboard as of 2015) ARE LIVING IN THE ISLAND OF PALAWAN AND MAJORITY OF THEM ARE IN PUERTO PRINCESA CITY THE SKATEBOARDING WAS STARTED YEAR 1995.

some of the skaters stopped in playing due to lack of support.

as we always promote 'PREVENT ILLEGAL DRUGS' and separate youth from negative influence , skateboarding is a good way to promote peace,camaraderie , active in recreational activities and also to help the tourism in the city ..

Personally, for me  I was thankful that I've learned skateboarding because if there is no skateboarding i couldn't graduated in college and no regular work today ,it supports me to relieve stress , found new friends helps me to be disciplined and bring to were i am today _jc enon

different personalty involves in skateboarding including the children the youth ,teenagers and also the some professionals including a banker ,a businessman, policeman Etc.

the impact of having a SKATE PARK is not just for me its for every skateboarder, BMX  riders, scooters, inline,you and the community.It support the government to have a recreational activity for the youth, it support the tourism when some tourist wanted to visit or play in the park may be its a simple way but a big impact for the community and for the economy as well. 

they say "wala naman kwenta yong ginanagawa namin araw araw sa park skate lang ng skate" for me its a lot of meaning of skating everyday.it builds unity in every one .

not to compare with the other sports .. LOCAL SKATERS OF PALAWAN NEED A MEDIUM WHERE THEY CAN  EXPRESS THEIR IDEAS AND PERSPECTIVE .
