Flags represent the people. People unify to accomplish common goals.

The current symbol of the City Flag of Reading does not represent the people.

A flag should have a simple color scheme and memorable features. No words or other complications can be viewed on a flag in the distance.

All Reading residents live beneath the Pagoda.

Reading, PA has an historical railroad that connected to the rest of the country.

As citizens of Pennsylvania, the keystone is an additional symbol.

Personally I have heard of Reading as a "Pretzel City."

These symbols represent the City of Reading, Pennsylvania.
