Recently, the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey circus announced that they will be phasing out the elephants acts from their shows by 2018. Elephants used in circuses are beaten, abused, and mistreated. Let's join with other cities and ban elephants acts now. Hopefully, if more cities do this, Ringling Brothers will move up their timeline so that these special animals can be retired and live the rest of their lives without being prodded by bullhooks and forced to entertain the masses.
