The Eastern Shore and Triathlete Community was shocked and saddened to learn of the sudden passing of Gerry Boyle. Gerry was the longtime race director of Eagleman as well as Ironman Maryland. His devotion to our community, his neverending positivity, and his passion for Dorchester County and the Triathlons that take place here were unmatched. Great Marsh Park has always been the epicenter of the many triathlons that Gerry organized. What better way to honor him than by renaming Great Marsh Park after him?
