Jonathan, who is being detained by ICE, faces unjust deportation to Cameroon this Tuesday, 11/10, where he will most likely be killed. I heard his story today on NPR in their segment This American Life. His aunt who lives in Maryland has apparently agreed to sponsor him but ICE will not release him. Jonathan has proof & evidence that he will face persecution & even death if deported but the federal government refuses to grant him amnesty. Instead, just last week, shortly after our US election, ICE moved him to a detention facility in Texas to prepare him for deportation this Tuesday, 11/10/20, to Cameroon. I’ve spoken to his attorney & she says the best thing to do is reach out to our Congress members, & get as many people involved as possible.  Please sign & share this petition to help save Jonathan & keep him in the US!
