Syracuse maybe be known for high poverty rates and having the #1 polluted lake in America, but it's also #1 in having Tom Cruise being born here! Let's change Syracuse's dreary reputation for something more palatable; like a constant reminder that American actor and filmmaker, Tom Cruise, came right out of the big orange. Cruise has been nominated for three Academy Awards and has won three Golden Globe Awards. City of "Syracuse" please name this town, "Tom Cruise Town" and if you can, name Destiny USA "Tom Cruise's Closet and The Cheesecake Factory". This will surely increase tourism and give our town the charming yet boyish restructuring it needs.
