Our children deserve better than a playground from the days when Regan was president and viewers wondered "Who Shot JR?"  Yet, that's the reality of what our lakefront showplace, Washington Park offers: outdated, rusty equipment. 

Modern playgrounds help children develop physical coordination, strength, and flexibility, with equipment such as the seesaw, merry-go-round, swing set, slide, jungle gym, chin-up bars, sandbox, spring rider, trapeze rings, playhouses, and mazes. Children learn how to play, share and use their imaginations. 

Washington Park needs a modern, state of-the-art playground for its youngest citizens.  Communicate your will to City Council. Please sign and forward to other Michigan City residents who want to invest in our future.
