This petition is requesting the resignation of Knox County School Board Chairman, Dexter Smith following the display of his destructive personal agenda.

To be successful, we must take the bureaucracy out of education and concentrate on empowering the people of Knox County. This is the only way that “We the People” can have the school system that we have all envisioned.
What happened today was utterly shameful. The fact that the Chairman of the Board refuses to give the public a reason for decision is unacceptable. Our children's future has no space for personal agendas. Kelly Sprinkles has an overwhelming majority of support among the people of Knox County, that is who the Board should represent. When members of our school board are more interested in themselves than that of our children and their education, something has to change. We can not let our community leaders dictate our lives and our kids future.
We have to come together, we have to revolt. We have to rise above those who do not represent us; liars and corrupted impostors.
