Once again, this year the State of Iowa Youth Advisory Council will be pursuing action intended to protect youth from the harmful practice of conversion therapy. This is a grassroots effort that requires the help of Iowa citizens, and we’re asking for your signature and support moving forward in our legislative pursuits. Let’s protect all kids, and help our state take a stand for human rights.

A New Jersey Court ruled in February 2015 that gay conversion therapy is consumer fraud, and the authoritative entity of psychiatric counseling in the United States, the American Psychiatric Association, has also discredited the practice. New Jersey passed the same legislation in Iowa's legislature with bipartisan support last year. Ask the Iowa House and Governor Terry Branstad to end this dehumanizing practice!
