Currently Warwick Living Center is vacant, Bethany Christian Services along with Michigan Masonic Home has requested property located on Warwick Drive to be rezoned allowing Transitional Foster Care for unaccompanied youth male (Illegal immigrants) ages of 12 to 17. As a tax paying citizen of Michigan I am concerned about the safety of our community if this facility is allowed to have illegal immigrant males 12 to 17 years of age, many of these youths may have been raised in an unstable environment. It is unknowing if they have strayed down the wrong path developing unacceptable problematic behaviors putting our community at risk and other safety concerns. The request is for up to 36 beds and the plan is to receive 10 to 16 youths at a time then transferring those every 40 days, perpetually exposing our community to new faces and unacceptable behaviors.

We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge our leaders to act now to deny the rezoning requests for the Warwick Living Center, currently zoned as Multiple Family Residential District Under Special Use Permit as a Convalescent/Nursing Home.
