The Issue

Dear Collier County Citizens,

In light of the previous attempt to declare Collier County as a Bill of Rights Sanctuary blocked by Commissioners Burt Saunders, Andy Solis, and Penny Taylor and in light of an insufficient resolution proposed by Penny Taylor reaffirming loyalty to the Constitution for the United States.  I urge you to sign the following petition.  This petition requests that either Commissioner Bill McDaniels or Rick LoCastro bring forth the following resolution to be voted on by the commission declaring Collier County to be a Constitutional Sanctuary and changing the Collier County Government’s mission statement to reference elected officials’ accountability for violations of the Constitution of the United States.

A similar resolution was successfully passed in Cattaraugus County, New York.  The new mission statement would ensure that there is a written statement that holds Collier County Commissioners accountable to the Constitution for the United States and Florida Constitution.  Please read carefully the proposed resolution and sign the petition for it to be brought to a vote by the Commission.

            God Bless,
