The Issue
The government is considering privatisation of two perennially loss-making units of public-sector steel major SAIL — Salem Steel Plant (SSP) in Tamil Nadu and Visvesvaraya Iron and Steel Plant (VISL) in Karnataka as per THE FINANCIAL EXPRESS published on July 19, 2016 6:42 AM. VISL is the dream company created and designed by mysuru odeyars and sir.m.vishweshwaraiah. We have almost lost one company mysore paper mills, could not stop it to privatise. Our own state Bellary mines is not allocated to VISL which could have been done. Kindly sign this petition to support the cause.
