Colorado lawmakers have crossed the line with SB25-276.

This bill is nothing but red vs. blue, gang-style politics that puts party loyalty above the people of Colorado. It rewards those who break our immigration laws while ignoring the citizens who pay taxes, follow the rules, and struggle every day just to survive.

SB25-276 is wrong because:

It rewards illegal behavior by shielding people who broke immigration laws.

It ties the hands of law enforcement and prevents jails from working with ICE.

It wastes taxpayer money forcing schools, hospitals, and public agencies to create policies protecting illegals instead of helping citizens.

It creates a sanctuary state, inviting more illegal immigration while legal immigrants wait years and pay thousands to come here the right way.

It ignores hardworking families who are denied benefits because they “make too much,” even though their paychecks barely cover rent, food, gas, and healthcare.

Colorado families working 50–60 hours a week shouldn’t have to beg for help while politicians chase partisan points. Citizens should come first.

We demand the repeal of SB25-276. Our state should focus on protecting citizens, lowering costs, supporting veterans, and funding schools — not shielding illegal immigration for political gain.
