Motocross a way of life for many in the state of California. Many rely on this sport for exercise, mental health and to have something to look forward to. Being restricted from outdoor exercise due to the fact it is not recognized by the state as essential is not only unfair but it also puts a financial burden on the small business owners that put their heart and soul into giving us places to practice the sport we love the most. 

While other forms of outdoor exercise are strongly encouraged motocross riders are stuck at home patiently waiting for their local counties to open up for business again. While we all understand the dangers of Covid-19 I strongly believe if anyone can follow a set of guidelines and rules it is the motocross community. We all wear Helmets, goggles, gloves and long sleeved clothing. We practice time and time again In hopes we will be able to gain the slightest bit of knowledge and to better our skills. We are always looking out of one another. It’s like a small family to say the least. Everyone that signs here will agree that we can and will practice safe outdoor exercise. 

The motocross community’s should be allowed to open to give kids and adults a place to practice social distancing while doing the form of physical activity they choose.
