NO-BOARD PRESSURE ON 9th GRADE STUDENTS

NO-BOARD PRESSURE ON 9th GRADE STUDENTS
The Issue
Please take out 2 minutes to read this.
The CISCE has announced that there will be no boatd exam for 9th grade, but they’ve decided to set a common paper of the 9th grade for all the ICSE- affiliated schools.
It includes the entire syllabus, which is giving no relief to the students, infact it has increased their burden. The teachers assigned for the respective subjects in the school are in a hurry to complete the portion, and are teaching their subjects with least interest. The main problem comes up with Mathematics, where the teachers solve hardly 5 sums from an exercise and expect the rest to be done by the students. The teachers are taking extra class on the non-working days of the school.
I would request the CISCE board to let the respective schools give a specific and a reasonable syllabus for mathematics to the 9th grade.
It is neither a loss to the board nor to the school teachers. The ones who are suffering are the 9th grade students. The new policy of the board is not a student-friendly way to deal with.
I would be highly obliged, if you support this petition.
Yours sincerely,
