Most will agree that the content of Indian television has been, in a way quite regressive, which explains why a lot of people don't like watching serials as they simply do not identify with them. However, when there is finally a show that showcases real life and people can relate to it, instead of encouraging it, such shows are axed on the pretext of poor TRPs. We are still unsure of how your arrive at deciding that a show is popular or not cause some that are said to have high TRPs, are simply those that are so far off from the realm of reality, that they seem unbelievable!! Ek Duje Ke Vaaste is a realistic show that has succeeded in bringing people of different ages, from different walks of life together. As viewers, i think we have every right to decide what we want to watch. Its in very poor taste that Sony TV has decided to pull the plug on this popular show inspite of constant protests and requests that they give the show a reasonable extension. Not only did they not bother to consider the request of the viewers, but they have also been fooling people with a standard false response saying"ITS NOT GOING OFF AIR". I think we deserve to see EDKV as it was envisaged and so our request is that we have a second season of Ek Duje Ke Vaaste with the SAME CAST on any other channel IF Sony TV is not interested in airing it. If there are any other issues, then its our humble request that the parties concerned, resolve them and give the audience what they have been fighting for, for the last so many days.
