Cinebabies screenings currently take place in many Cineworld cinemas across the UK, so that new parents can continue to enjoy the latest releases (movies for adults, not children) from Cineworld's regular programme, accompanied by their babies, in safe and comfortable environment: step-free access, breastfeeding-welcome, pushchair storage, nappy changing facilities, low lighting and sound etc.

Cinebabies screenings ensure that new parents need not worry about their baby causing a disturbance or leaving their baby with a babysitter. Cinebabies provides an opportunity for new parents to socialise with their friends, and meet other new parents in their area.

Currently, thanks to Genesis, Richmix and Picturhouse cinemas, families in Whitechapel E1, Bethnal Green E1, Greenwich SE10 and Stratford E15 have the opportuntity to go to local baby-friendly screenings during the quieter hours of the weekday morning or early afternoon.

When contacted by DocklandsBaby.com about bringing Cinebabies to E14 families, Cineworld West India Quay responded 'As we do not have much demand for these type of screenings at West India Quay, we have no plans to start doing them at any time soon, but always welcome feedback from customers'.

Through Change.org we petition Cineworld West India Quay to bring Cinebabies to our area, to provide local families with local baby-friendly cinema screenings. It would also be a great opportunity for our local cinema to take parents' contact details to keep in touch with news of family-friendly events as our children grow up.
