- ⚠ context; this is about a movie called Adam, coming out on August 14th, 2019 in the U.S. The premise is about a cishet (cisgender, heterosexual) 17-year-old boy, called Adam. he has an older sister who is a lesbian, and she invites him to stay with her in NYC (New York City). there, he interacts with multiple people apart of the LGBTQ+ community. they assume he is a trans (not sure if its ftm or mtf) and welcome him with open arms. however, he is not, and uses this to his advantage.

in the movie, there is multiple acts of homophobia, transphobia, and (borderline?) racism (that adam commits), etc. such as:
+ spying on his sister having s/x with another woman
+ describing the anatomy of asian females as "weird"
+ calling trans people "disgusting"
+ tricks a lesbian into having s/x (r/pe)
+ gets away with r/pe
