Men get lied to all the time by women. 30% of men deal with paternity fraud in NH and my fiancé is one of them. The law states if you sign a birth certificate then your legally responsible for that child regardless of any circumstances that should change that. I really believe that if a man is to find out that he is not legally the biological father of a child then he should not have any obligations including financial obligations to that child. Not only for the mans sake should this law be changed but for the welfare of the child. The child he is currently paying child support for but has no relationship with is suffering from severe seizures and other medical problems. As a mother myself and a teacher, I feel it is important to know everything about a child's biological history for the safety and well-being of that child.
