I am an athlete at Kiowa High School. What I witnessed last night at a basketball game was not ok. A girl on the other team had an asthma attack because us athletes are required to wear these stupid masks the whole time during sport events. I think it’s important to know that our Athletic Director is doing his job and enforcing rules. The real problem is with CHSAA and counties that dictate who can attend the games. If your gonna allow my parents and other parents in we need to let visitor parents in too. If her parents were allowed to be there it could have been less scary then it already was.   If professional sports or college level don’t wear them we shouldn’t have to either. So why do only high school sports have too? Football and wrestling don’t have to wear masks, why basketball?
