We demand that the Government of Canada use its influence in the international community to help implement the resolution of the United Nations calling for freedom for journalist and Wikileaks editor Julian Assange, currently confined inside the Embassy of Ecuador in London, England, where his conditions and health are deteriorating rapidly. As was recently revealed (due to a clerical error) a sealed indictment awaits Assange in the United States, where he'll be shipped the moment he leaves the embassy to face secret trial and possible indefinite detention and even execution (as President Trump has suggested).
