Why this petition matters

Started by ligor bunga

My name is Ligor Bunga . My MP's office has put me through hell for the past 5 months. I have been lied to and my mentally disabled sister has been discriminated against, by the office of Chrystia Freeland and CIC.

Making everything even worse than it already was, my MP’s office sent the police after me; at first I just thought they wanted to speak to me but soon I feared for my life. My rights were violated at every level.

I'll not disclose all the actual events at this time, until I'm convinced that I will be safe. All I can say for now is that there were other disturbing things done to me. This isn’t something I just imagined; these are actual events that took place in downtown Toronto, and I am still suffering from it.

The same day as this incident, I got my last email from the office of my MP around 10pm. And I never heard from her office again. I really need my MP to answer and help me with my sister’s visa application. Also Rome Embassy doesn't respond to me anymore either.

The MP are elected by the people to serve the people. However, when our politicians treat their own citizens in the manner I was treated, we can say goodbye to democracy.

I believe the embassy of Rome doesn't want to give my sister the visa because she has a severe learning disability; In fact her certificate lists her disability as severe mental retardation.

I need to show my MP that I'm not alone and I need her to address this situation without delay. I'm all alone and afraid for my life. I'm very confused and hurt and sad. I need the support and love from my parents; both of my parents have the visa but not my sister. I’m simply trying to change that situation and help her get a visa.

Please sign and share. Thank you very much

Re: MANE BUNGA (mother) AHMET BUNGA (father) MIMOZA BUNGA (sister)

This letter is to confirm that Mr. Ligor Bunga is a patient of Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He required an allogenic stem cell transplant for Myelodysplastic Syndrome, which was completed on March 6, 2018. This is a very specialized and high risk procedure. Mr. Bunga had some complications from his transplant including a line infection and Graft Versus Host Disease of the liver.

Mr. Bunga continues to receive on going treatment and follow up at the BMT Clinic at our hospital. Presently his physical condition is stable, but he remains on medication and comes to the hospital frequently to be carefully monitored and to receive treatment as needed. The side effects from his transplant and medications can cause extreme fatigue, weakness, and his immune system has been severely compromised, leaving him susceptible to infection. He is also at risk of developing potentially life threatening complications from his transplant such as chronic Graft Versus Host Disease.

Mr. Bunga requires emotional support and assistance with his activities of daily living as he recovers from his transplant. He currently does not have any friends or family available in Canada to help him. He is having significant difficulty in managing without practical support and care from family members. He needs his mother to assist re-establishing his daily routines post-transplant, to assist with cooking nutritious meals and help with his medication. Mr. Bunga would greatly benefit from this type of support for a few weeks or months. He has been quite distressed by the delay in organizing the visitor visa for his parents and sister to come to visit and is in most urgent need of family support at this time.

Mr. Bunga believes that the delay has been related to his sister's visa. Enclosed is further verification of his sister's disability. I understand that his sister requires 24 hour care from her mother and needs to travel to Canada with her parents.

On compassionate grounds, I am requesting that you provide a Visitor's Visa for Mr. Bunga's parents and sister, to come to Canada to provide him with urgently needed support. This is vital to his emotional, psychological and physical wellbeing.

Thank you for your consideration and rapid response to this request.

Sincerely yours,

Auro Viswabandya, MD,DM

Application for Temporary Resident Visa

Dear Sir/Madam,

Kindly be advised that I have been retained by the above-mentioned in her Immigration matters. Her duly completed and signed use of representative form is enclosed herewith.

The applicant provided in a timely manner, proof of medical insurance to cover her pre-existing conditions.

We have enclosed your request letter dated April 12, 2019 as well as the confirmation of coverage dated April 24, 2019, which was sent to your office in a timely manner.

Your office has already issued temporary resident visas to her parents on whom she is dependent for her daily functioning.

Therefore, there should be no concern as to her not leaving Canada by the end of the period authorized for her stay here.

We have also enclosed a letter from the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre explaining the compelling need for the applicant along with her parents to come to Canada to provide her brother Ligor Bunga with urgently needed support

Given all these factors she qualifies for a temporary resident visa.

Would you kindly advise as to the status of this file.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Yours truly,

Ronald Shacter
