Integrity BC is calling on provincial Agriculture Minister Pat Pimm to step down. Integrity BC executive director Dermod Travis says in the wake of a Globe and Mail article which revealed that Pimm tried to play interference on an application submitted to the Agricultural Land Commission when he was an MLA, the minister must resign. “This is a no brainer. Cabinet ministers do not intervene, try to influence or interfere whatsoever with the work of a judicial or quasi-judicial tribunal.” As for the commission, it describes Pimm’s actions as “not appropriate.” http://www.cknw.com/2013/11/10/integrity-bc-calls-for-agriculture/
