We the People of Rutland City, Vermont. demand that Congress STOP Mayor Christopher Louras from allowing 100's of Syrian refugees from coming to our home city! Many of the ones he wants to allow into our City will be those that are desperately poor. These are the same people or many of the same who danced in the street celebrating 9/11, the same people who hate us. We have our share of problems within Rutland City and sure do not need anymore. Congress must take action before Rutland ends up like Europe with their refugee problems. Bottom line we cannot afford to take these refugees in.

Officials in Rutland say the city will take in 100 Syrian refugees beginning in October. Rutland Mayor Christopher Louras said he’s been working closely with state and federal refugee agencies to create Vermont’s first relocation community for Syrians. The refugee announcement was made at a packed City Hall press conference Tuesday.. THE PROBLEM? We the residents of Rutland were unaware of this being in the works.

ITS NOT RIGHT TO BE KEPT IN THE DARK UNTIL A DECISION WAS ALREADY MADE! WE HAVE A RIGHT TO NOT WANT REFUGEES COMING INTO OUR CITY!
