As part of Westpac's Action No 5 to "advocate for policies that stimulate investment in climate change solutions" in your recently published Climate Change Action Plan (#3), we the undersigned would like Westpac to bring their considerable legitimate ethical weight to bear upon like-minded corporations, and to lobby all Australian Federal, State and Territory Environment and Sustainability Ministers to convince them that  implementation of a price on Carbon is the most sensible way to achieve their stated objectives of meeting our internationally agreed climate change targets. Further, that you are disappointed in the lack of clear direction by government at this time and that the transition model adopted by the Gillard government (in good faith) was effective and it (or similar policies) should be re-implemented at the earliest possible opportunity.
