Many welfare recipients call into Centrelink on their mobile phones. With wait times escalating up to and over an hour or more, costs accumulated from waiting to speak to a Centerlink Customer Service Officer are beyond what many on welfare payments can afford.

Reintroduce a call back system, or an online call register for call backs.
Centrelink delays show there is a huge shortage of qualified staff. This doesn't make sense! There are many people looking for work and many with lived experience, empathy for those doing it tough and with practical knowledge. These positions should be easily filled.
