Zebedees is a charitable trust completely run by Steve and Jennie White and their awesome team of hard working volunteers. For over ten years, Zebedees created a safe place for youth to meet and share their passion for music and presented them with opportunities to help them succeed later on in life. It has often been regarded as “one of the best youth venues in the world” by visiting international musicians and is currently the only live youth entertainment venue in Christchurch. Sadly on February 22 2014, Christchurch will lose it’s only all ages music venue.

In an attempt to keep the Christchurch Youth Music Scene alive, A young group of entrepreneurs have come up with a plan. “By the end of 2014 we would like to open a brand new all ages youth focused venue to continue and expand on the legacy of Zebedees” We aim to open an establishment that operates as an all ages music venue in the weekends with an open stage to all performers e.g. musicians of any genre, dancers, theatrical performances, school groups etc.

Our goals do not end there. We aim to run a full list of services for the youth of Christchurch including:
After School Programmes
Music Tutoring
Recording Studio
Design & Arts Tutoring
Mentoring
Counselling Services
Holiday programmes
Rehearsal/Practice space & so much more…

All offered at an affordable or zero cost.

We are in the process of researching the necessary costs involved as well as potential locations before we seek funding. It is here that we seek your help.
