Crisis may come, crisis may go but deep down we all know that, the Karnataka Government has taken the decision that all intermediate semester students be promoted based on an aggregate of their internal marks and previous semester marks vide Order No. ED/197/UNE/2020.

While we acknowledge that we have taken the Online Exams of our own volition that was based on the facts and circumstances existing then. Multiple universities have cancelled their exams in light of this order and if Christ goes ahead and keeps exams we would be at a great disadvantage compared to students studying in other universities and colleges. It is pertinent for the college to note that the future of a number of students would be unfairly disadvantaged later when we attempt to get jobs if all Univeristies barring ours promotes students based on internal marks. We therefore request you to take cognizance of the Govt Order which we have attached above and the long term welfare and interest of the students of Christ University and cancel the ESE scheduled from Monday, July 13, 2020
