As a recently passed bus driver I was stunned to see no C1 entitlement on my driving licence. I can legally carry passengers in a coach weighing well over 30 tons. But can't hire a decent sized van or motor home. To have to pay again to drive a vehicle between 3.5 and 7.5 tonne is ridiculous, considering I drive twice that every day. Common sense should prevail, and anyone with a full D licence, should be granted C1 entitlement.
