Transport for London, an unelected body are making decisions which affect all London residents and people travelling to and from our great city. TFL are not accountable to any watchdog organisation. TFL produce meaningless consultation documents, railroading residents concerns, such as the cycle super highway and the coming traffic closure of Oxford Street. TFL has an unfair policy of subsidising bus companies to run empty buses, causing high pollution levels. TFL's policy of issuing thousands of private hire licenses has also increased congestion and pollution whilst it's bias against black taxis has seen rigorous enforcement procedures against them. If you have complaint to make about Transport for London, the ombudsman for local government will refuse to take your case as they state that they are not a local authority. Therefore this petition call for an inquiry into Transport for London.
