We are starting this petition to SAY NO to the elimination of the Telecommunication Tax fund for the Deaf as stated in House Bills #44, #45, #63, and #100. This is where we get funding for the most essential services provided to the Deaf, Deaf-Blind, Hard-of-Hearing (DDBHH) community here in Louisiana. A move to eliminate that tax would be DISASTROUS to the DDBHH community.

We are asking Louisiana Representatives Broadwater, Edmonds, Morris, Price, and Governor Edwards to listen to our community and ensure that this elimination does NOT happen.
