As we know there is so much we need to do for climate change. Felling 30 trees, will have an impact to the local community, resident wildlife, air quality. These trees are earmarked for coming down to build housing. Chorley Council has given permission of this to go ahead. These houses will bring their own contributions to emissions. Trees are the planets lungs. All efforts need to be made to protect wildlife habitats and to build on existing residential space first. 
There is already a problem with flooding in the area, additional housing and the lose of trees will add to that. 
People have mentioned that bats reside in the trees. 
Im hoping that this petition will change the council mind on the felling of these trees.
