Annually, scientists across the globe are poisoning, torturing and kill billions of innocent animals for the ''safety'' of humanity. The animals that are experimented on vary from mice, rats, rabbits, farm animals, cats, dogs and monkeys. Prior to cosmetics and cleaning products that are released in the market, the products are tested on animals to assess the hazards of the product. The animals are forced to swallow or inhale large quantities of the product and/or chemicals are coated on their skin and/or the substance are put in their eyes.The toxic are given to the animals daily seven days a week for up to two years. Animals are also used to observe and create potential treatment for diseases, the defenseless animals are infected with diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease, Antidepressants, Autism and so much more. If the animals manage to survive the experiment they continue to live in a stressful and unnatural confinement and usually live a shorter life span than most animals. Mice and rats have been victims of stress experiments, they cage mice and rats in tubes, electric shock their feet and force them to swim to avoid drowning but tragically the list continues. In some scenarios scientists lack experience and cause even more pain than necessary. Every second, one animal dies in a laboratory in the USA, in Japan every two seconds and in the UK every twelve seconds. Although there are more accurate and harmless alternatives to animal testing many scientists select the most callous and heartbreaking options to find cures to diseases and test animal products. We should rally together to defend and be the voice for our beloved animals before they go extinct and change the inhumane experiments conducted on them.
