End Chinese mandatory "toxicology animal testing" laws!

End Chinese mandatory "toxicology animal testing" laws!
The Issue
$26 billion dollars is what the Chinese cosmetic industry was worth in 2013 alone. Thus, making it very attractive for cosmetic companies to want their products sold there. Although, the horrible truth is that in order for a cosmetic company to be allowed to sell their products in China they have to comply with their "toxicology testing" law which is where ALL cosmetic companies have to test their products on animals prior to being sold in China. This includes makeup, perfume, skin care, nail products, hair products, hair dye, deodorant, sunscreen, and whitening products. This law mandated that these companies go through a lengthy product approval process known as "toxicology testing" where all their products have to be tested on animals such as rabbits and guinea pigs.
Furthermore, because of this law many companies have been testing on animals just to sell in China such as; Dior, Chanel, Givenchy, Guerlain, Estee Lauder, MAC, Origins, Shiseido, Lancome, Clinique, Bobbi Brown, YSL, Maybelline, Revlon, Avon, Vichy, La-Roche-Posay, Olay, Avene, L’Occitane, Caudalie, and more. Now, a once cruelty-free company, Victoria's Secret has now subjected themselves to complying with China's laws just so that they can make a bit more money. What's more important money, or your conscience? Animals ARE life!
Thankfully, on June 30th, 2014 China had announced that their law will be "revised" so that it is no longer a mandatory law. Although this is great news for all animal activists, it is not enough! The European Union had banned for companies that tested on animals to be allowed to sell their products in Europe, so why can't China do the same? Cosmetic companies are not being mandated to test their products on animals anymore but what about the companies that already complied with their law? Do they get told that testing on animals is inhumane? Or will they continue to see animal testing as a cheap way to see if their products are safe?
I have begun this petition because, as an animal activist, I believe that animals deserve respect, honor, and love just as a human being would. I believe in this cause because, "Each year more than 100 million animals die-including mice, rats, frogs, dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, monkeys, fish, and birds-are killed in U.S. biology lessons, medical training, curiosity-driven experimentation, and chemical, drug, food, and cosmetics testing." And I mainly believe in this cause because, "Before their deaths, some are forced to inhale toxic fumes, others are immobilized in restraint devices for hours, some have holes drilled into their skulls, and others have their skin burned off or their spinal cords crushed..." (http://www.peta.org/issues/animals-used-for-experimentation/animals-used-experimentation-factsheets/animal-experiments-overview/) If humans are not allowed to be tortured in an inhumane way for the sake of curiosity, or for the sake of probable punishment, then why is it allowed to be done to LIVING beings who cannot speak for themselves? Humans are also animals and we have rights, shouldn't they have rights as well? Why not, just because they can't speak? I started this petition because I believe in equality, love and respect for ALL living beings.
This petition can make the greatest difference because, animals are being seen as worthless disposable laboratory equipment. They have beating hearts, breathing lungs, and emotions the way humans do. The only difference we have is that we have been blessed with the gift of voice. We can help change the world by showing them the beauty that these animals have to offer us. Without animals, this world would be colorless and dull. I'm sure more people would become depressed. This will help to show the world how much animals have to offer us, free of charge. Their reliable companionship, their endless love, and their protection. Now a days this world takes advantage of all the beautiful things we are blessed with until it is all gone, let us try to END this inhumanity before we look up and realize it's far too late.
This video has revealed to me not only the ugliness of animal experimentation but the long term harm is does to the animals and its ineffectiveness to human advantage. Please watch the video even though it is 6 minutes long, it will help to better inform you of this horrible crime that is occurring. Above all, don't sign this petition just to be an animal activist but to become "A VOICE TO THE VOICELESS!"
Thank you,
