The DeWitt cousins have tried their hardest to completely redesign v4a using mainly smali code of the apk, however the driver has remained the same due to it not being open sourced or updated for years. Android is moving towards a time where we need 64 bit versions of libraries but we can not do this with v4a and some devices just plain won't work with the current driver. Please sign this petition to get the attention of the original ViPER4Android devs and get them to understand our love of v4a and allow the DeWitts to modify the driver to work of newer devices.
