We the undersigned would like to see the driveway/loop that goes around China Grove Middle School named after the late Carl Wilkerson. He lived most of his life in a small house that once sat on this street.

It is now an unnamed drive and there are no structures that would need to be numbered. The drive is located on state/school owned property.

As you may or may not know he was the janitor at China Grove Elementary School and touched the life of every child, teacher and parent he came in contact with.

There would be no more fitting way to honor the memory of this man than to have generations of children to come least see and hear his name, recognizing a man who touched the children of his community so deeply...
