My child was seriously tortured by her father who is currently sitting in jail for his crimes, yet is still legally allowed to have rights to my child's upbringing. As soon as you are charged and convicted of a crime towards a child/children you should lose all your parental rights to your victim for life.

No child should ever have to live in fear, and especially fear that your perpetrator will be released from prison and than be allowed to have access to you once again. 

We need to protect all children from abuse but especially continued abuse at the hands of the person who is meant to protect them. 

We also need to change the sentencing of these offenders, my child's perpetrator got 3 and a half years and was not classified as a serious offender. That is a kick in the guts to every child victim DISGUSTING. This man only has to serve half his sentence before being able to apply for parole, you get more time for a drug charge ridiculous. We need to stand strong against child abusers and murders and show these maggots and our government that we as Australians will not and are not going to allow this crime to continue with very little consequences.
