Banken vs Banken divorce case has been in the system for over 2 years. Over this time Lea (Mother) went from a full time stay at home mother to the system slowly reducing her access to the children. The children now receive most of their care from nannies while mother fights the system to even get an update about their well being from anyone...Even the CPS workers assigned to their case are not calling Mother back to provide updates.

There is no criminal or violent history of the mother but the same can not be said about the father.

The father is a great businessman who has spent the last many years growing his business while Lea (Mother) was dedicating her life to raising the children and making a great home environment for their family. The mother continued to endure emotional, mental, physical, and financial abuse by the father (there are police records to prove physical abuse) during their marriage and was hospitalized during the pregnancy of their 3rd child when she was served divorce papers for the 2nd time and told by father that this time he did his homework and she will suffer. Mother could never have imagined how right he was but it is not just the mother who is suffering, the children are 1, 5, and 7.

Unfortunately there is proof that the people appointed by the court to protect the children (all paid for by the father) are going out of their way to gloss over the fathers violent past while manipulating the system to reduce the mothers parenting access.

At this point the courts have reduced her time to only allowing supervised visits and now the supervisor is demanding accommodations be made by mother that are unreasonable thus not allowing mother to see the children. (they are also not giving updates on children's well being, not letting her talk with the children directly, and even forced mother to miss the eldest's childs 7th birthday without even allowing her to call - in the past mother has always had elaborate birthday parties for the children)

Supervisor is demanding the following:

1. that NO other relatives or friends be present at any visitation,

2. that no audio or video recordings be made at visitation (no reason to WHY has been given, but common sense would say they are upset that mother already has audio proof of past lies they have told and knows that mother is now working with a civil rights lawyer)

3. that IQ evaluations, and other psychological tests be taken by mother as ordered by the court (father has tested very poorly on past psychological test and is in contempt of court again but that again is being overlooked by those appointed by the court (and paid by the father) and children remain in his "custody".

4. that mother makes a "parenting plan" showing what she plans to do with the children while they are with her (really!?!..she plans on being their mother and loving them)

Unfortunately this story on top of being heartbreaking continues to become less and less believable and should scare every protective parent out there as this can happen to anyone. Lea (Mother) continues to expand her network of parents who have been mistreated by those appointed by Carver County and lost their children. Mother has started looking into the history of those appointed by the court to help the children, these same people who she trusted would do what was best for the children and allow them to stay in her care since she was the one who provided their entire care from before they were born, and found that many are not licensed as they should be and even the "psychologist" who made the recommendations to protect the children from the mother turns out to NOT have a PHD as stated at court, and in fact has changed her name to hide the fact that she has had disciplinary action taken against her in the past..

We are pleading with the Judge to return Lea's rights as a mother and for the love of those children allow them to see their mother again and force the father and allow the children to have access to a qualified psychologist who can help them thru this very difficult time.

The records show that the children love their mother and their time with the mother (as long as father isn't around because when father is around the children are noticeably less open to mother, but as soon as father is not present children are open and loving again)...
