On May 25, 2024, at 8:30 PM, we will be holding a candle lite vigil in honor of Dracen by Old Mill Park in Necedah (across from KT). On the bridge by the Dam. This peaceful event aims to show our support for Dracen's family during this difficult time. Please bring your own candle. Anyone causing a disturbance will be asked to leave, and officers will be called if necessary. I come committed to maintaining the peace during this heartfelt vigil. 

Also, Old Mill Park has recently undergone significant updates to enhance its natural beauty and provide a serene environment for all visitors and our children. If you happen to walk over to Old Mill Park.  It is crucial that we maintain this beautiful space by ensuring that all waste is either taken with us or disposed of in the provided receptacles after any events or gatherings, such as vigils. Littering not only mars the park's appearance but also harms local wildlife and ecosystems. Thank you so much
