It is with absolute heartbreak and anger that we share the devastating news about Dracen. Today (05/24/2024) at 11am, Dracen's parents received the news no parent should ever have to hear: “You won’t be leaving with your baby.” Despite this tragedy, further testing will determine which organs Dracen can heroically donate to save other lives. Organ donation is a powerful act of kindness that can save up to eight lives and improve many more through tissue donation (source: Donate Life America). Dracen should be settling in tonight just like his peers after attending the middle school glow stick dance. Instead he’s laying in the PICU about to change someone’s life for the better or even save a life. That’s more than we can say for the kids who drove him to suicide. They are destroying kids and Dracen is saving them. One child received a two day suspension AND is still allowed to go on the end of the year field trip. I’m not sure what is worse, only a 2 day suspension or the fact they’ll get to have fun where Dracen should’ve been. They didn’t like him though, they didn’t want him around and they made it very clear. “GO HOME AND KILL YOURSELF”. They got what they wanted and one is walking around proclaiming “I didn’t even do anything” (off school grounds). CLEARLY, this kid has NO moral compass and it SHOWS!!!! Hug your kids, squeeze their hands really tight. Hold Dracens family in your prayers. DJ, you are not going to die in vain my friend. You will NEVER be forgotten, ever.
