Her name is Nitya. She 19 years old, almost 20. She has a 10-year-old sister. Since she was a child, her household has been emotionally, verbally and physically abusive, and now it is also becoming financially abusive. Her sister and she can't breathe in this house. They are constantly belittled and considered as the property of their parents, only thought of as a method to keep their reputation strong and good. They have been slapped, dragged around rooms, told they were idiots and worthless and won't amount to anything. (Which is violating against Human Rights in Article 5: No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.)

Nitya is currently unemployed and CPS is starting to get involved in their situation. She needs funds to be able to get out of the house as well if/when her sister is removed from their parents' custody. And it's not just for Nitya, but her sister as well. A child that needs to be protected and loved and who deserves to be with someone who actually loves her unconditionally.

They both need a safety net. They both need help. Your help. So if you can give them anything at all, it would be incredibly helpful and would offer them hope.
