Reform the child maintenance service.

Reform the child maintenance service.
The Issue
I have recently had dealings with the Child Maintenance Service and have found them to be nothing short of discourteous, disrespectful and biased in favour of the claimant.
1. Calculations are based pre-tax and include overtime payments, overtime is never a guaranteed source of income.
2. Your wage has to drop 25% for the service to even consider a recalculation.
3. The service suggests the cost of raising a child depends on percentage of your income. How can this be the case, I would suggest that cost doesn't vary from child to child. I therefore would like to see a cap placed on child maintenance payments of £50 per week.
4. The service basis calculations on number of nights, I have my child 3 days and 2 nights. The service suggests it costs money to keep a child whilst they sleep. I would like to see this changed to be worked out on number of days.
5. No mechanism exists to ensure the funds given to the residential parent aren't misappropriated. I would like to see some sort of expenses report published to show the actual cost of raising a child. Currently by virtue of what they are asking for they suggest the cost of raising a child is in excess of £700 per month.
6. The service disclosed my annual income to the residential parent, I would suggest this is a breach of GDPR law and would like to see this change.
7. There is nothing in place to prevent the residential parent denying access to the non residential parent in order for further financial gain. Unless the non-residential parent wants to spend lots of money in legal expenses through family courts. I again would ask this to be reviewed.
